West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust runs West Suffolk Hospital which is a large district general hospital in Bury St Edmunds, England. Founded in 1832, It provides a wide range of services to the population of west Suffolk and serves a catchment area of approximately 600 square miles with a population of around 275,000 people. ==History== West Suffolk Hospital was founded in 1832, and moved to its current site in 1973. It became an NHS Trust in 1993.〔 In 2002, the hospital was widely publicised as Myra Hindley had died there.
